Senior Traffic Engineer
to assist in its growing transportation business in West Virginia. Come collaborate with some of the top transportation experts in the industry, participate in production of traffic design, perform traffic studies, and develop and prepare project deliverables. This position will help mentor junior level traffic staff and support a robust regional traffic group in a growing office that delivers local project work and supports industry leading projects nationwide.B&N Senior Traffic Engineer Responsibilities
Work as part of a project team, collaborating with industry leaders in transportationDevelopment of signal, signing and striping, and/or traffic control plansLead studies and capacity analysis projectsPrepare traffic impact studies and traffic analysis for WVDOT, local agencies, and clients throughout the countryDevelop skills in complete traffic engineering and technical abilityMentor junior staff in traffic analysis and designEngage with the transportation industry to identify marketing opportunities and build strategic business development relationshipsSkills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program15+ years of related civil engineering experienceWVDOT experience preferredExcellent communication skills and willingness to collaborateProficiency in Microsoft Office and HCS is requiredFamiliarity with traffic software such as Microstation and/or CAD, TransModeler is preferredStrong interest in transportation engineering and motivated to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation systemsSelf-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration toolsOUR BENEFITS
