People Operations is seeking a high-performing

People Operations Manager

to plan and coordinate the human resource function for the MRO division of the business, inclusive of Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Employee Engagement while ensuring compliance with local, state, and government laws. Reporting to the Vice President of People Operations, the ideal candidate will use his/her interpersonal, negotiation, organizational, and conflict resolution skills to ensure a high-performing workforce. This role will indirectly report to the facility general manager and will work closely with the President of the MRO Services group.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a crucial point of contact between leaders and employeesSupport the executive team of the business in achieving their goalsOversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staffManage all People Operations functions, such as onboarding/offboarding, benefit & compensation administration, visa-related requests, payroll, time off requests, and performance management, job descriptions, staff training, etc.Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulationsFacilitate and lead employee relations activities, including conducting internal audits and disciplinary meetingsPlan and direct employee engagement events, which promote a high-performing, inclusive, and mission-driven cultureOther duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree5-7 years of Human Resources / People Operations experience, preferably SHRM-CP or SCP-certifiedExperience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now) in building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analyticsHigh emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of peopleActive listening skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalismHighly organized and detail-oriented; and able to handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beatMust possess strong skills/experience in business partneringPassionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organizationBilingual (English/Spanish) required
