CCCA is looking for a talented, driven, and knowledgeable Architect | Architectural Designer with 5 + years background experience in a professional work environment with an understanding of K-12 Education; Higher Education, Recreational or Multi-Family residential projects. We are on the lookout for a motivated experienced individual able to perform in a self-directed manner all facets of the building design process, including preparation of design presentations, schematic design, design development, contract documents, model building and rendering, as well as construction administration while adhering to budgets, timelines, schedules, and other projects requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop concepts based on given criteria, using feedback to modify designs
Work collaboratively with other team members to determine the best design solution(s)
Increase required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, ArchiCad, PlanGrid, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, and other 3D modeling and rendering programs as needed
Lead small team on a deliverable basis
Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm
Build and maintain a network of connections within the industry, attend events central to the firm’s strength and goals
Qualifications:
A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university
5 + years of experience in a professional environment, experience in office, hospitality, multifamily, residential, or mixed use projects is preferred
Proficiency in Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino, 3D modeling and rendering programs; experience in Revit is favored
Knowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documentation
Experience in all conventional aspects of architecture
Experience in all phases and aspects of a project is preferred
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, professional work environment
Ability to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn
Ability to work independently with little supervision
On track for future professional licensure or certification if needed
Optional: architectural license/registration
