Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team at HR Employer Solutions Group in West Palm Beach, Florida. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that medical instruments, equipment, and supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored for safe use. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $30 per hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities:- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical instruments, equipment, and supplies- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment- Inspect instruments for defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel- Assemble and package instruments for sterilization according to departmental procedures- Maintain accurate records of all sterilization processes- Follow all infection control and safety policies and procedures- Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a timely and respectful manner- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain knowledge of current sterilization techniques and protocols
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited sterile processing program preferred- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Strong organizational and communication skills- Ability to lift and move heavy objects- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
