Overview

The Wire Transfer Specialist is a critical role to the bank due to the inherent risk associated with Wire Transfers as well as the time sensitive nature of wire processing.

The Wire Transfer Specialist role is to assist in all operational aspects of wire transfer operations and requires direct interaction with bank associates across all markets.RENASANT BANK IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER

Responsibilities

Assist in all operational aspects of wire transfer operations primarily processing incoming/outgoing wire requests with the Federal Reserve

Assist associates across the organization with questions regarding wire transfer agreements, research requests, filing / storage of wire transfer documents and reports, wire transfer agreements, etc.Understand and comply with bank policies, laws, and regulations, such as BSA/AML programsDisplay professional interpersonal skills at all times with clients (internal and external)Provide feedback and input on process and workflow improvements, as identified, to continually ensure optimal efficienciesOther related duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's Degree is preferredMinimum 2 years banking experience or equivalent knowledge is preferredProficient computer skills - Microsoft Office productsAptitude for operating other systems and softwareStrong interpersonal and written and verbal skillsStrong reasoning and problem solving skillsRequires criminal background checksFlexible work schedules based on wire volumes and related activity that may require unplanned after hours work schedulesPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
