We are seeking a Physical Therapist with orthopedic skills to join our quality and patient centered team in Oakland.

Ideal candidate will possess these qualities:

Desires to provide high quality clinical care and grow in their clinical skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAble to work with a diverse patient case load (age, background, ethnicity)Work well with other staff.Experience supervising students is preferred but not required

Your responsibilities will include:

Provide evaluation and treatment for our patients, documenting findings, care plan and treatmentCommunicate with referring practitioners as neededUse evidence based treatment approaches to ensure appropriate treatment and progression of careWork within all ethical and legal guidelines for PT practiceMaintain appropriate productivity and work expected hoursParticipate in continuing educationMaintain PT license

Who will you be joining? We are a 21 years old practice that is still growing and we have always valued the quality of patient care that we provide and the quality of staff who we hire.

Our care is provided in a one-to-one environment by therapists who are motivated to learn and enjoy patient care.

We work with a diverse caseload in a diverse city in a warm and personable environment in all aspects of our business.

This includes scheduling 40 minute treatment sessions, providing therapy services such as orthopedic, sports, spinal rehabilitation, pelvic health, balance and vestibular rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation when needed, TMJ treatment, bike fitting, return to running coaching.

We use a variety of orthopedic manual techniques and exercises developed by Maitland, McKenzie, Mulligan, Shirley Sahrman, Gary Gray, Jenny McConnell and others, myofascial decompression (cupping) and other soft tissue techniques, Schroth Method training (in a limited way due to insurance constraints), return to running protocols, Parkinson's PWR moves, balance and functional training with and without an overhead rail system.

We highly value teamwork, expecting our staff to balance team and individual responsibilities, to be objective and open in their communication and to able to give and receive feedback in a positive way. Everyone on our team is an important component of our success and should be able to contribute to the improvement of our operations.

Job Type:Full time.

Schedule:Flexible, prefer 4 x 10 hour days.
