We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead and navigate unique and challenging problems across a broad spectrum of technologies, from instrument control to the cutting edge of machine learning. This role calls for a dynamic individual who can autonomously tackle complex challenges, continuously deliver high-quality solutions, and effectively communicate progress and outcomes to leadership.Key Responsibilities:Design and Development: Craft and implement solutions for large-scale problems using a variety of frameworks, including Flutter and PyTorch. Your work will span multiple domains, requiring innovative thinking and a versatile skill set.Collaboration: Work in close coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, and Biology teams to co-create solutions, demonstrating a strong ability to communicate across disciplines.Review and Documentation: Conduct thorough reviews of both code and design documentation, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and maintainability. Your contributions will be pivotal in maintaining our high standards of quality.Leadership and Communication: Provide regular updates to leadership on project statuses and challenges, embodying transparency and proactive problem-solving. Your ability to navigate uncertainty and drive projects to completion will be key.General Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to face unique challenges with persistence, creativity, and a positive attitude.Proven track record of delivering high-quality work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Strong independent working skills, with a capacity to take initiative and manage projects with minimal supervision.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.Bonus Qualities (Not Required):5-10 years of relevant industry experience.Experience in technical leadership roles, showcasing the ability to mentor and guide teams towards innovative solutions.
