As a Senior Software Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Django, React, AWS cloud technologies, and API integration to build and optimize software solutions. This full-stack role involves cross-functional work with adjacent teams such as product and lab, providing hands-on technical leadership and collaboration to drive projects forward.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Django and React.Integrate APIs to enhance functionality and interoperability within our systems.Collaborate with product managers and lab teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.Aid in the creation of a centralized repository for the analysis of large data.Maintain high code quality and ensure adherence to best practices.Foster a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and providing mentorship to junior engineers.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.8+ years of experience as a software engineer.Experience within the biotechnology, diagnostic, medical device, or health tech industry.Deep understanding of Python.Extensive experience with AWS.Demonstrated expertise in API integration and development.Experience working in a start-up environment and thriving in a hands-on role with a small team.Additional Information:Hybrid work schedule: flexible in-office and remote work options.No sponsorship is available for this position.
