The Registered Nurse (RN) will:

Coordinate annual and routine medical services to ensure all healthcare records are up to date and include all regulations as mandated by OPWDDSupervise AMAP staff in aspects of medication administration and documentationBe on call 24 hours a day to provide phone triage for consultation on all medical needs of the individuals servedServe as a liaison to both the families and the residential staff regarding their medical concerns regarding individual residentsProvide in-service training to the residential staffParticipate in the Program Planning Team processComplete all written reports and documentation on a timely basis so that all agency, state and federal regulations are maintained residential complianceReport all incidents, including allegations of abuse and neglect and serious reportable incidents, to management immediately upon discoveryPerform all other duties, as assigned.Qualifications:

1+ year of Nursing experienceGraduate of an accredited School of NursingNYS Registered Nurse (RN) licenseSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skillsPatient orientedGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in NursingPrior Nursing experience and/or experience working with persons with Developmental Disabilities
