Coming soon 5 new offices in North Atlanta.We are currently seeking qualified Pediatric board-certified Family Medicine Nurse Practitioners to join our group.LOCATIONS: Ellenwood, Georgia 211 Fairview Rd suite 200, Ellenwood, GA 30294JOB SUMMARY:The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and treatment of care for patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.WE OFFER OUR NURSE PRACTITIONERS:Great earning potential which includes a base salary plus a lucrative bonus plan. Ability to see an average of 22 patients/day4 weeks of paid time off Medical, dental, and vision benefits from Day 1401k retirement savings planLimited on-call duties (phone call only, 1 week/year)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Outpatient medical consultation services under supervision of a physician in our medical office. Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating new and existing patient’s medical conditions. Conducting follow-up patient care. Ordering and interpreting lab, radiology, and other diagnostic study results. Prescribing and referring patients for consultations when appropriate. Answering emergency telephone calls after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule. Administer and order drugs for patients. Complete all notes/tasks in patient’s EMR account indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed. Perform patient physicals. Providing health education to patients and families. Supervising/coordinating the activities of patient care and support staff within the clinic. Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with a nurse protocol agreement.
