Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating new and existing patient’s medical conditions. Conducting follow-up patient care. Ordering and interpreting lab, radiology, and other diagnostic study results. Prescribing and referring patients for consultations when appropriate. Answering emergency telephone calls after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule. Administer and order drugs for patients. Complete all notes/tasks in patient’s EMR account indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed. Perform patient physicals. Providing health education to patients and families. Supervising/coordinating the activities of patient care and support staff within the clinic. Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with a nurse protocol agreement. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Master’s in NursingCertified Family Nurse PractitionerCurrent APRN licensure in GeorgiaCurrent Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registrationClinical experience in Family Practice preferred
