ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:
Participates as a member of the Health Care team working with professional non-professional staff and associated professionals in providing care which provides optimum home care and continuity of care to referred patients addressing the age of the patients served.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Occupation Therapy
Must have current California licensure
Ability to function independently and autonomously
Knowledge and ability to perform an Occupational Therapy assessment
Knowledge of principles concepts and modalities and methodology required of an Occupational Therapist
Ability to operate and demonstrate the use of equipment for occupational therapy care
Ability to teach and instruct patients caregivers and staff
Must have current BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
Preferred Qualifications:
One year experience as an occupational therapist. 6 months to one year home health experience preferred
