The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.GeneralEstablished team of Advanced Practitioners with physician on-call support2 clinic locations, one at Sunnybrook Medical Plaza, one at our Marketplace Location on Hamilton BoulevardOpportunity to practice outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinicCohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferencesExperienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the communityPRN position, looking for coverage for weekdays, weeknights and weekends Requirement to fulfill at least 12 hours per monthFully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordinationResponsibilities:
Average of 45 patients per provider, per dayNo call responsibilityWide variety of ages and acuityAbility to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serveSpecialty skills: Sutures, EKGs, Splints, Draining abscesses, Pelvic exams, STD screensEvaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient carePatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environmentExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skillsQualifications:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantBoard CertifiedExperience as advanced practice provider in primary care and/or emergency medicine strongly preferredHold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IowaHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practiceEligible to work in the United StatesWe offerCompetitive PRN hourly rateA culture guided by uncompromising values and unwavering belief in doing whats right for the people we serve.Community DetailsSioux CitySioux City has grown to be one of Iowas largest cities and its meteoric rise isnt showing any signs of slowing down.
