General Function
Responsible for supporting the daily assembly operations of the plant.
Duties and Responsibilities
Adapt and promote Lean Manufacturing principlesActive participant in the Elimination of Waste Team ProgramSupport the Company's Goals and ObjectivesResponsible for operating various assembly machinery within the secondary operations per operator instructionsVisually look over parts to assure proper quality, uses gauges as required, per Control Plan / Quality check sheetResponsible for quality of all production parts produced in their respective work cellResponsible for reporting any quality defects to the Team Leader or SupervisorKeep work areas and equipment clean and safeMust be able to sustain the fast demands of an automotive production environmentResponsible to fully complete and update all paperwork on daily basis (production reports, PPLH, scrap reports, 5"S" housekeeping sheet, etc.)Scanning and printing SAP product labelsServes in the capacity of wastewater handler commensurate with completion of proper environmental trainingOther duties as required by the General Production Supervisor or Team LeaderWork Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
Usage of a computer, and other workplace machinery such as SAP hand held scanners calculators and printersPossess working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance criteriaEducation
High school diploma or GED
