Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician
The Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD is searching for a board eligible and/or certified Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician as faculty in the Center for Development and Learning. The Center for Development and Learning provides diagnostic evaluations and management of children and adolescents who have problems in development, language, learning, social skills, attention, or school adjustment. The faculty member will participate in an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary clinical team of professionals that drive the clinical, training, and research missions of the Center. Responsibilities, in addition to direct patient care and teaching medical trainees, are coordination with other disciplines at Kennedy Krieger Institute, including speech and language pathologists, neuropsychologists, behavioral psychologists, child psychiatrists, neurogeneticists, genetic counselors, and social workers to ensure that each patient receives an individualized and comprehensive evaluation and recommendations for appropriate monitoring and treatment.
Qualified applicants will be eligible for faculty appointment at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as an Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor, depending upon qualifications.
Excellent salary and full benefits are offered, including partial college tuition remission for faculty member dependents (at any college) and tuition remission for faculty members, spouses and dependents for course work performed at the Johns Hopkins University and the Peabody Music Institute.
