We are seeking a

Program Administrator

to work collaboratively with the PI on a statewide initiative R3: Resilience, Renewal and Retention of Maryland Nurses and the Mindful Ethical Practice and Resilience Academy (MEPRA). The position will provide high level organizational, administrative and project management support, while interacting with a wide variety of JHSON faculty and staff and the Maryland nursing community.The Program Administrator must be highly proactive and demonstrate the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize effectively, take an energetic approach to work assignments and take initiative in anticipating the needs of the director. This position requires the ability to take a creative approach to problem solving, addressing the needs of business office leaders and managers, and helping the various units meet strategic goals and objectives. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate, communicate effectively, prioritize multiple tasks, exercise good judgement, be detailed oriented, and take a proactive approach to work on assignments. As a professional representative of R3 Initiatives and other projects, the candidate must be committed to responsiveness, customer service, excellence, and teamwork. The Program Administrator will deal regularly with sensitive, privileged, and confidential subject matter and maintain high standards of confidentiality.Core responsibilities will include execution and continuous evaluation and improvement of the planned activities including information management and sharing; oversight and coordination of the project's educational and research endeavors; ensuring execution of day-to-day operations; budget and communication.The modified hybrid position will be located on the East Baltimore campus.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesProgram Management (R3 and MEPRA) (75% R,3.5% MEPRA=80%)Execution and continuous evaluation and improvement of the planned events.Support of the day-to-day operations and the educational programs that the program supports.Works with the team and faculty to coordinate program scheduling and management of learning and research activities.Contributes to the mission and goals of the JHSON institution-wide strategic initiatives, assuring compliance with accreditation and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.Applies advanced knowledge of program management to optimize personnel development, fiscal and departmental operations, performance improvement, and program development.Serve as the functional lead/administrator for reporting systems. This includes, project management, designing and maintaining reports, meeting minutes, maintaining, and supporting training programs.Creates and manages a central calendar for the R3 - Renewal, Resilience and Retention for Maryland Nurses Programs and MEPRA program.Organizes and schedules monthly R3 team meetings, Coordinating Council and annual national advisory board meetings. Creates invitations, tracks participation, disseminates materials, creates agendas, takes notes during meeting, creates minutes and follows up on action items.Manage, arrange and coordinate all R3 - Renewal, Resilience and Retention for Maryland Nurses Programs and MEPRA events, including scheduling dates and locations, recruiting participants, preparing a budget, and adhering to it, selecting vendors, preparing and distributing materials; coordinate/organize and disseminate materials as needed for meetings. coordinating technological requirements and ensure that all logistics run as planned as appropriate for R3 - Renewal, Resilience and Retention for Maryland Nurses Programs and MEPRA events.Manages the various SharePoint sites and Microsoft Teams folders for the R3 - Renewal, Resilience and Retention for Maryland Nurses Programs and MEPRA teams- ensuring that content is updated on a regular basis and that content is kept relevant and current. Creates systems for tracking participation, data collection and prepare evaluative analytic reports and compile/prepare reports.Coordination/collaboration of partnerships across schools, universities, hospitals and MNRC to meet R3 program goals. This will include ensuring routine team communication with all partners in the process of strategic decision making about all events, including working within a stringent time frame with and agreed/available budget.Streamline and maintain effective and proactive communication with Project Directors, all project faculty, staff, students, NRP educators and others as required.Maintain and update R3 the website including a repository of resources and manage and provide support for website content updates. Response to inquiries and creates plan for regular updates in collaboration with JHUSON Marcom.Develop the annual podcast calendar with the PI, schedule, coordinate, and collaborate with JHUSON Marcom to produce, deploy and evaluate impact.Collaborate with the project team and curriculum/instructional designer to deploy the R3 modules on the LMS platform or other formats.Conduct literature review, prepare manuscripts for submission to journals, track progress, and contribute to scholarly initiatives within scope of expertise.Collaborate with budget analyst to assure that all expenditures are accurately assigned to budget and proactively monitor budget.Applies strong writing skills to draft, proofread and edit a variety of materials including all written correspondence, presentation materials, agendas etc.; draft/edit communications, review and disseminate to intended population.Works with project team to prepare, submit, and revise scholarly manuscripts for publication or other dissemination.Uses procurement card for purchasing in accordance with university policies.Other duties as assignedSupervises grant budget management and financial functions, ensuring that tasks are completed in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.Maintains records of expenditure within university policies.Additional Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesStrong technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) required.Demonstrated knowledge of project management processes and software applications.Excellent communication skills and skills related to project organization, decision making and attention to detail.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree.Two years related experience.Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in business, accounting, finance, systems operations, healthcare administration, or related field.Three (3) years of managerial experience in operations or project and people management role or related experience.Experience in healthcare and/or healthcare education highly desired.Research expertise is desirable.Expertise in technical aspects of learning management systems, data management, and communication platforms.Classified Title : Program AdministratorRole/Level/Range: ATP/03/PBStarting Salary Range : $45,700 - $80,000 Annually ($65,400 targeted; Commensurate with experience)Employee group: Full TimeSchedule : Monday - Friday (30 hours per week)Exempt Status:ExemptLocation :Hybrid/School of NursingDepartment name: Research AdministrationPersonnel area: School of Nursing
