Job DescriptionThe Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the nominated project(s) and managing to the key performance indicators as mentioned below. The projects may consist of but not limited to; sourcing materials and equipment, manufacturing equipment, installing equipment and commissioning equipment to meet Company's contractual obligations for the nominated project assigned.The Project Manager will be expected to check all design requirements as per Company engineering policy before construction or purchase either locally or overseas equipment/materials needed to meet contractual obligations of the nominated project. The project manager will select sub-contractors or suppliers within Company's guidelines to supply the required services and equipment to meet the nominated project requirements.The Project Manager is expected to plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate construction/installation of engineered solutions as provided by Company's engineering design team. The project manager is expected to manage human resources involved in the construction/installation process, making sure that all safety, legal and statutory requirements required by the project are met.Safety is the Project Manager’s first priorityMake sure that all work performed on a Job Site respects Company's safety proceduresManage day to day operational aspects of a project and scopeEffectively applies Company's methodology and enforces project standardsAbility to read and understand drawings and job specificationsMaintain schedule to ensure a timely completion of project to the contracted timelineMaintain and manage project budgetSignature and payment of Final AcceptanceIssue quotation requests, bid analysis and purchase ordersDevelop supplier relationships that support the supply chainVerify quality and accuracy of materials and equipment suppliedMaintain a quality control programCustomer satisfactionInterest taken in the process and technical aspect of the projectGross Margin at the end of project is metOverall performance of the project team utilized for the nominated projectKnowledge & SkillsIdeally, the candidates will have 3 to 5 years of project management experience in a traditional manufacturing industry or in the construction industry, with either an engineering degree or a business degree. Experience with management of Capital Expenditures projects could be a plus.The Project Manager is expected to be able to bridge the gap between different languages and cultures. He/she also has to be pro-active, in collaboration with the Company's technical experts, in appraising various technological solutions for sourcing the best solutions globally to meet the nominated project requirements in a cost-effective manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office including; Outlook, Project, Excel, and Word.
