Our client is looking for an experienced Subsea Project Engineer for their Perth office.As the Subsea Project Engineer, under general supervision, you will be technically responsible for the safe, cost-effective and timely preparation, execution and close-out of underwater intervention projects in compliance with relevant specifications and quality standards as specified by the client.Key Relationships:

Clear and concise project definition studies and execution methodologies.Assist the Project Manager to monitor and control costs associated with specific projects.Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project plans/schedules using appropriate project management tools.Prepare and monitor project procurement plans.Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of project status reports for internal and external issues.Initiate and conduct periodic project reviews to ensure:Original project objectives and client requirements are met.Safety, environmental, operability, maintainability, reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness are addressed during project life.Timely preparation and issue of clear and concise project review reports.Effective use of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment tools and techniques including monitoring and close-out of actions.Manage the design, manufacture, assembly, and testing of equipment and tooling packages.Prepare and manage the preparation of all necessary operations procedures for all aspects of underwater operations, equipment deployment, and testing.Prepare and manage the preparation of all necessary installation engineering documentation (including, but not limited to, lifting design and analysis, installation and testing procedures) and as-built documentation.Key HSE responsibilities:Procedures developed for the project include the relevant outcomes of project HAZID workshops.Ensure that any additional project equipment, materials, and substances not used in company daily operations are subject to HSE risk assessments prior to purchase.Ensure significant changes in project design and/or engineering are managed in accordance with the Subsea procedure for Change Management.Provide technical guidance at relevant operational sites (offshore) on the use of equipment and tooling packages, installation operations, and project execution.Initiate and conduct project debrief meetings at relevant operation sites and participate in overall project debrief meetings (onshore).Prepare project close-out reports.Deputise for the nominated Project Manager where requested.Mentor nominated and/or assigned (less experienced) Project Engineering personnel.Qualifications Required:

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering with any of the following specifications:Mechanical/MechatronicCivil/StructuralOcean Engineering/Naval ArchitectureSubsea
