Qualifications: Hold a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university Hold a valid New Jersey educational service certificate in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A 18A:27.1 et seq., and NJAC Title 6 Chapter 11 with a Speech Language Specialist endorsement (N.J.A.C 6:11-11.9) and other appropriate endorsement(s) in accordance with the requirements of N.J.A.C 6:11-10.1 et seq. Minimum of five years of excellent teaching experience Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative Demonstrate the ability to assess, treat, and provide strategies for the prevention and remediation of speech, language, and hearing disorders. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Speech-Language pathology, child growth and development, learning assessment and diagnosis, research related to learning, instructional strategies, and classroom management. Demonstrate an understanding of current rules and regulations regarding Child Study Team and special education assessment and program requirements. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators, and the community. Ability to interpret and assist classroom teachers with the analysis of data. Salary:
