Job Overview:
A law firm specializing in complex commercial and business litigation seeks a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Austin office. The ideal candidate will handle diverse litigation matters and should be well-versed in federal, state, and local rules.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial and business litigation issues.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Take and defend depositions of witnesses.Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and arbitrations.Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements or participate in mediation.Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy and execution.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Texas State Bar in good standing.3-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.Experience with complex commercial litigation matters such as antitrust, construction, product liability, real estate, financial services, and energy.Strong familiarity with federal, state, and local procedural rules.Proven ability to independently handle discovery, dispositive motions, and trial preparation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to effectively manage client relationships and expectations.Experience with mediation, arbitration, and trial advocacy is preferred.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Texas State Bar in good standing.Company infoBCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100HoustonTexasUnited States 77042Phone :
