We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical construction projects from start to finish. You must have a strong background in Project Management, with solid familiarity with commercial mechanical and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee mechanical projects from start to finishEnsure projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standardsCoordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are metDevelop and maintain project schedules and budgets using project management softwareReview and approve RFI's and submittalsBuy-out project in a way that ensures a quality installation while staying at or below budgetObtain and analyze proposals from multiple vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors; negotiate costs, manage contracts, oversee and coordinate work of subcontractorsManage all change orders including documentation, cost estimates, negotiations, and executionOversee the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing systemsConduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to planManage project documentation and ensure accurate record-keepingProvide regular project status updates to senior management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or 10+ years of trade experience5+ years of experience in MEP Project Management.Strong communication and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsKnowledge of industry standards and regulationsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
