We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us solve the complex home configuration problems faced by home builders globally. You’ll be programming inside the world’s leading CAD/BIM packages (AutoCAD & Revit) and the work you do will improve the home buying experience for future home owners, enable home builders to build homes faster, and help our environment by reducing the waste associated with each home.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Responsibilities:
Code, test and debug new and existing software using Microsoft C#, ASP.NET, and the .NET FrameworkParticipate in analysis, design, design reviews, and code reviewsCollaborate with Project Managers and the system architect in determining and providing feedback on requirements and designCooperate with SQA and other development teams to ensure solutions are efficient, consistent and fulfill business needsGenerate high quality software and refactor existing softwareApply generally accepted programming standards and techniques to ensure efficient program logic and data manipulationWork within an Agile software development environment (using Scrum), participating in scrum meetings, retrospective reviews, and planning meetingsAbility to interact professionally with others; including co-workers, vendors and customers
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field2+ years of software design and development experience preferredFamiliarity with software architecture design, programming patterns, and good coding practicesDesign and development experience with C# and ASP.NET development skillsPrevious experience programming within or on top of Revit is highly desirablePrevious experience programming within or on top of AutoCAD is a plusworking knowledge of SQL or Entity Framework preferred
