Duties:
Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing our client's internal standarsfor scalability, security, and reusabilityCollaborate cross-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutionsActively contribute to product quality improvements, value added service technology, and new business flows in diverse agile squadsDevelop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including end-user merchants, B2B, and business to government solutionsLeverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later TechnologyDevelops enhancements and modifications to existing software and develops extensible code that complies with design specifications and meets security best practicesImplements automation to improve effectiveness and efficiencies of systems and tools and supports development and implementation of new automationEngages with product engineering teams and product ownersduring code/design reviews, regular meetings, on-call rotations, and incident responses throughout product development and operations cyclesRequirements:5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experienceKnowledge of and ability to develop back-end C# code in support of package and product development;this includes the extension of capabilities of packages and productsThe ability to develop and utilize Application Program Interfaces (APIs), a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications that specify how software components should interact and are used when programming graphical user interface (GUI) components;an API may be for a web-based system, operating system, database system, computer hardware, or software libraryKnowledge of and the ability to use database software (e.g., applications, web-based applications, information systems) to maintain, modify, and output dataKnowledge of systems integration process in which separately produced components or subsystems are combined and problems in their interactions are addressedKnowledge of data structures, which consist of data organization, management, and storage formats that enable efficient access and modifications;this includes a collection of data values, the relationships among them, and the functions or operations that can be applied to the dataKnowledge of strong test code practices, including behavioral and test driven development, with the development and maintenance of test code infrastructure considered an equal partner to application code developmentOffer:
