This individual will report directly to the CFO and manage the Firm’s corporate accounting, reporting, compliance, and administration functions. They offer a competitive base, plus annual cash bonus, plus equity!POSITION : Corporate Accounting ManagerLOCATION : Buckhead, Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)Responsibilities:

Our client is seeking to grow its Finance & Accounting team with a Vice President/Accounting Manager to manage the Firm’s corporate accounting, reporting, compliance, and administration functions. The Vice President will be integral to managing the full spectrum of financial and compliance activities of the Firm’s corporate entities. Reporting to the CFO, this position will have diverse responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The candidate will be an individual contributor as well as be responsible for managing and coordinating workstreams with several outsourced service providers. The position has significant growth potential given the growth trajectory of the firm and will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions as a core member of the growing Finance & Accounting team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial information, support strategic financial decisions, and enjoy having a broad array of responsibilities related to corporate accounting.Corporate Accounting

Oversee monthly corporate financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation.Maintain corporate cash flow forecast to manage liquidity and financial planning.Manage corporate treasury functions, including management of online banking platform.Lead corporate budgeting processes to align financial planning with strategic goals.Coordinate corporate tax preparation with the Firm’s tax preparers.Administer the monthly Fund reimbursable process to ensure accurate cost allocations between entities.Oversee the outsourced corporate accounting team, ensuring quality and efficiency of work.Other corporate accounting and analysis tasks as needed.Payables & Expense Reporting

Oversee corporate payables processes, including the management of the Firm’s AP system and wire transfers.Coordinate invoicing for property billable expenses and ensure timely collection.Manage the Firm’s expense reporting system (Concur) and approve employee expense reports.Manage the Firm’s corporate card program and reconcile card transactions monthly.Coordinate the annual vendor 1099 reporting and compliance.HR & Administrative

Coordinate onboarding for new employees with the Firm’s outsourced HR Team.Approve bi-monthly payroll and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.Administer the 401k plan.Manage HRIS system (Paycom), ensuring data integrity.Oversee corporate administration tasks and maintain orderly financial operations.Sort and distribute mail as part of administrative duties.Oversee the Firm’s virtual administrative assistants and ensure they support accounting functions effectively.Compliance

Conduct the annual compliance manual review with the Firm’s compliance consultant.Coordinate annual compliance training for employees.Liaise with compliance consultant on employee pre-clearance requests and other ad-hoc compliance requests.Manage annual cybersecurity tasks with the Firm’s cybersecurity consultant, including firewall testing and employee email phishing campaigns.Assist with investor Anti-Money Laundering checks quarterly and as needed.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance7+ years of relevant corporate accounting experience with at least 2 years in a management roleProficiency in financial software and HRIS systems.Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with corporate financial reportingDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving skillsComfortable working independently as well as in a team environmentMust be a self-starter who takes the initiative to produce high-quality work productStrong verbal and written communication skills
