Job Description
The IAER (Institutional Advancement and External Relations) Business Analyst is a crucial member of the Advancement Services team, responsible for leveraging data to drive strategic decisions in marketing and fundraising. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to analyze data, develop insights, and support the institution's goals of enhancing donor relationships and increasing student enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
Under the guidance of the Director of Advancement Services, work closely with the marketing, partnerships, and fundraising teams to analyze data, identifying trends and insights that inform strategies to strengthen relationships with donors, prospective students, and parents.Advanced Reporting:
Build advanced reports incorporating benchmarks, KPIs, and data visualizations to support the institution's objectives, facilitating informed decision-making and strategy development.Dashboard Development:
Develop and maintain comprehensive fundraising and marketing dashboards that provide a 360-degree view of constituents, ensuring stakeholders have access to real-time data and insights.Predictive Modeling:
Create predictive models for key business objectives, such as charitable giving and program enrollment, using historical data trends to forecast future performance and guide strategic planning.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably within a fundraising, marketing, or higher education context.Strong analytical skills, with expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools.Proficiency in data analysis software and CRM systems, with a preference for candidates experienced in platforms used in higher education.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.A strategic thinker and problem solver with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to driving results through data-driven decision making.
