Project Canary is a climate technology company offering an enterprise data platform that helps energy companies improve and report on their emissions footprint. The data-driven technology enables energy operators to stop leaks faster, reduce risk, streamline reporting, and differentiate their operations for key stakeholders.The Sr. ProductDesigner role will work on UX and UI design across multiple platforms with a focus on usability and data visualization. They will partner with product and engineering on multiple projects in a collaborative effort to produce valuable outcomes for our clients and our mission. As a scaling PBC, we have excellent benefits, a people-first oriented culture and policies, and an environment of fun that celebrates.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement solutions for product direction and to create deliverables.Transform technical data into user-friendly visualizations.Execute all visual design stages from ideation to hand-off and launch.Create wireframes, flows, prototypes, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.Visualizing various features and functions on multiple enterprise- and client-facing platforms.Establish and promote design guidelines, systems, best practices, and standards.Work towards becoming a product expert and represent thought-leadership.Constant and active learning and engagement in industry knowledge and understanding.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise5+ years of relevant experience demonstrated with a strong portfolio of mobile and web B2B SaaS and an emphasis on data visualization and analytic displays.Degree in design, relevant fields, or comparable experience.Ability to research and use technical data to tell a story.Working knowledge of design principles and terminology of user experience workflows and user interface design.Experience with working on multiple projects in parallel.Knowledge of design fundamentals and UI design heuristics with understanding of user-system interactions.Proficiency in Figma and other visual design, wireframing, and prototyping tools.Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.Experience working in an Agile development process.Understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.BenefitsSalary range: $125K - 160KHybrid work environment (at least 3 days/week in Denver office)Health, dental, and vision insurance with low deductibles and premiums paid by company 99% for self and 50% for dependents and/or spouse401K with company match (no vesting period)Opportunity for equity ownershipStudent loan assistanceUnlimited PTO (minimum rule of taking at least 3 weeks off in a year)Company sponsored wellness days (ski/snowboard days and more)12 weeks of fully paid parental leave (gender neutral) including adoptionsFlex Choice Monthly Stipend – choice between parking, public transportation, or wellness assistanceDog friendly office environment
