The Sr. Corporate Counsel will report directly to the Vice President & Associate General Counsel and will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of company contracts. In addition, the Corporate Counsel will provide additional corporate, transactional and other legal support assigned by the VP & Associate General Counsel. As a part of a small but efficient and productive legal team, the incoming attorney will have the opportunity to explore, tackle and solve a wide variety of commercial and legal issues and act as a business partner to Alkami’s sales and internal business teams. With an excellent work-ethic, the person in this role must be detail oriented, comfortable operating in a high volume, high demand environment, intellectually curious and ready to enthusiastically tackle the commercial and legal needs of our growing company.Key Responsibilities & Duties
Review, draft and negotiate contracts across all areas of the company, including, but not limited to, Master Services Agreements related to Alkami’s SaaS services, order forms, amendments, non-disclosure agreements, reseller and referral agreements and vendor contracts.Ensure consistency of contract terms with company policies and goals and best practices to enhance the contracts review processes.Work collaboratively with a high energy commercial sales organization.Provide direction and guidance related to the contracting process. Provide input to the development, maintenance and management of contracting policies and procedures.Educate business partners on key commercial, legal, corporate policy and other considerations to ensure timely performance and adherence to terms of contracts.Other duties as assigned - as TechFin evolves and Alkami grows, the opportunity to learn and apply your skills will likewise grow and evolve.Corporate Commitments

Position requires a Juris Doctorate and membership in good standing with a state bar, preferably Texas, with 3+ years of corporate contract and business experience, including developing, negotiating and managing a wide variety of commercial contracts--particularly SaaS agreements. We can teach TechFin, but SaaS experience is a must.Must be located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.Proven negotiation abilities and business acumen.Customer centric and solutions-oriented approach in supporting both external and internal clients while protecting the best interest of the company.Ability to deliver strong results with limited resources, under tight deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.Team player capable of leading and participating within cross-functional project teams to meet key milestones under tight timelines and stressful conditions.Desired Skills
Previous industry experience in the financial technology sector is preferred but not required.Previous experience supporting high volume sales teams in a SaaS field is a must.Cool Things to Know
