Pharmaron Manufacturing Services, located in Coventry, Rhode Island, is currently recruiting for a Sr. Project Engineer.This position is responsible for:Providing Process and Project engineering services in support of the Pharmaron Coventry Active Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing Site. The Sr. Project Engineer will act to ensure the safest and most efficient use of resources in the planning and execution of capital and expense projects. Additionally, this position will:Develop and provide designs that maintain the highest standards in Safety, Health, and protection of the Environment.Maintaining compliance with cGMP's, FDA, OSHA, EPA, Federal, State and Local regulations.Championing a team-based environment in process and facility design.Principal accountability for OSHA Process Safety Management implementation on assigned projects.Supporting new product introductions in a cost-efficient manner consistent with Pharmaron's customer requirements.Designing and installing new projects in a cost-efficient manner consistent with Pharmaron's business and customer needs.Managing all project phases including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and qualification.Some off-shift support will be required such as during new project start-ups.Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field7+ years of work-related experience in capital project design and execution in pharmaceutical ingredients, specialty, or fine chemicals.Familiarity of wide variety of unit operations, utility systems and related equipment.Demonstrated leadership abilities within cross-functional team.Demonstrated team building abilities.Familiarity with OSHA Process Safety Management Standard and other relevant codes and regulations.Additional Requirements:Advanced Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related areacGMP manufacturing experienceExperience in both the project engineering and process engineering areas.Familiarity with cGMP's and FDA regulations
