As a senior member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in architecting host software for our medical devices, developing tools to support manufacturing, and ensuring FDA compliance. You'll work in a fully onsite environment, Monday to Friday, in Raleigh, North Carolina.Sr. Software Engineer Job DetailsAs a Sr. Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include design and development of embedded software for the legacy and new generation of our medical devices. You'll write software requirements for the host application and software tools, provide design input for GUI of system software, and ensure FDA compliance of all software and potential Web-based applications. You'll also be responsible for design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity control methods meeting FDA NIST standards for host application software, firmware, and subsystems. You'll perform software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting, and work closely with software test and quality teams in preparing test cases, plans, and procedures.Sr. Software Engineer Mandatory SkillsCandidates must have a strong background in C++, C, and C#. You should also have experience with software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting, particularly with Visual Studio. Experience with FDA compliance and cybersecurity control methods is also essential. The role is targeting candidates with 7+ years of experience in embedded software development for medical devices. Must have experience with medical devices and medical device standards such as IEC62304, ISO14971, and IEC60601.Sr. Software Engineer Desired SkillsWe're looking for a candidate who is accessible, a team player, and possesses strong problem-solving and communication skills.
