Wellness and Integrative Health at University of Utah Health seeks an Associate Instructor to teach fitness classes for a variety of wellness initiatives. This Associate Instructor will primarily teach U employee fitness classes through

PEAK

Health and fitness, but will also have ample opportunity to assist in movement breaks, health fairs, and other one-off fitness class offerings.

Requires relationship-building and effective communication skills. Demonstrated strong understanding of health and wellness. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

CPR

Certification required.ResponsibilitiesDesigns and implements evidence-based fitness programming for U of U employee fitness classes.Supervises and evaluates students and trainees as needed.Enthusiastically participates in other Wellness and Integrative Health initiatives surrounding fitness.Serves as a professional representative of Wellness and Integrative Health to both internal and external clients and patients.Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field. Demonstrated relationship-building and effective communication skills also required. Demonstrated strong understanding of health and wellness.
