Job Title: Sr/Lead DevOps Engineer (Contract)
Contract Duration: 3 months Contract to Hire
Location: Hybrid - Hoffman Estates, IL.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr/Lead DevOps Engineer for a one-year, fully remote contract position within the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating, scaling, and optimizing our infrastructure and application deployment processes to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.CI/CD: Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Monitoring: Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and performance.Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of DevOps processes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering.Technical Skills: Proficient in automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
