.Why This Role Is Important to ArcadiaWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Data Integration to join our senior data leadership team. This role will have oversight over claims data integration and will be responsible for ensuring seamless, accurate, and timely integration of healthcare data across our systems. The Director, Data Integration will lead a multi-team department of data engineers and will play a critical role in shaping our data strategy and driving the success of our data initiatives. The Director, Data Integration reports directly to the VP of Data Operations.As a rapidly growing organization, we recognize that agility and scalability are critical to our success. Our teams are empowered to think creatively about how we deliver value to our clients and collaboratively drive improvements in our technology and approach.What Success Looks LikeIn 3 monthsDemonstrate strong understanding of the Arcadia connector technology.Achieve familiarity with standard operating procedures, tools, and responsibilities for department.Establish credibility with key stakeholders and build relationships with direct reports and with their team members.In 6 monthsIndependently support managers to clear barriers and solve problems, moving the team forward towards its strategic objectives.Provide ongoing active contribution to methodology and process for team operations.Be recognized by key stakeholders as committed, disciplined, self-motivated and self-organizing.Build relationships with other Arcadia senior leaders.In 12 monthsContribute to cross-functional initiatives with other Data Operations or Customer Management peers.Become a sought-after expert on the connector domains within your department’s purview.Engage consultatively with customer stakeholders to help ensure the success of their data integration.Demonstrate clear improvements in data integration metrics for our customers.What You'll Be DoingOwning of the end-to-end business function for claims data integrationOverseeing the building, testing, and deployment of high-quality connectors and ingestion pipelines, incorporating lessons learned for continuous improvementEngaging in sprint planning, product grooming, Jira task management, and other administrative responsibilities to support efficient development processesServing as a key member of the senior data leadership team contributing to the company’s data integration strategyActing as a designated subject matter expert and business owner for claims data and claims connector implementation, as well as optimization projects for the way we implement and support our connectorsEngaging directly with clients and serving as an advisor throughout the connector life cycleDeveloping and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of team and company objectivesEvaluating team performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify areas to improve timeliness and quality of delivery, the achievement of key metrics, or customer satisfactionCover the following supervisory responsibilities for department:Oversee the daily work of the teamProvide constructive and timely performance evaluationsRecruit, interview, hire, and train staffHandle performance management of employees in accordance with company policyWhat You'll BringA bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, data science, technology, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years working experience in data integration or data engineering with a health care focusProven experience in leading and managing data integration teams and projectsStrong understanding of healthcare data standards and typical data sharing practicesExperience working directly with customers as a technical advisorExtensive coding experience in SQL/Spark/Scala/DBT for data transformationDemonstrated spirit of innovation and continuous improvementIndependent idea generation and problem-solving, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneouslyExcellent presentation and communication skills, including ability to create powerful materials in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.Would Love For You To HaveExperience using collaboration tools such as Jira and ConfluenceA positive attitude and willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environmentProven track record in leading teams to achieve complicated, challenging objectivesExperience in partnering with offshore operationsTechnical experience with databases, database architecture, cloud architecture, Python, Kafka, Nifi, DBT, Hudi, and AWSWhat You'll GetThe opportunity to redesign the way in which Arcadia delivers and supports its connectorsThe opportunity to work alongside the healthcare leaders and innovators that make up Arcadia’s diverse client baseJoin a mission-driven company that is transforming the healthcare industry and changing the way patients receive careA supportive and remote work-friendly company with personality and heartExcellent benefits including unlimited Flexible Time OffThis position is responsible for following all Security policies and procedures in order to protect all PHI under Arcadia's custodianship as well as Arcadia Intellectual Properties.
