About The Role

The TEMP HR Manager/Business Partner (individual contributor) drives our mission by providing expertise in the areas of employee relations, performance management, employee retention, coaching/development, conflict management and ad hoc projects as necessary. Through organizational effectiveness, provides effective solutions to changing business objectives. Delivers key HR programs, practices, and policies to provide strategic consultation and coaching to the business, leadership, and employees.

Provides expertise in one or more areas including employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, employee retention, coaching/development, conflict management and ad hoc projects as necessary.Provides effective solutions to changing business objectives using organizational effectiveness techniques.Delivers key HR programs, processes, practices, guidelines and policies to provide strategic consultation and coaching to the business, leadership, the HR team and employees. Partners with teams on projects and/or collaborates with other HR-specialty teams to develop and deliver HR programs and solutions to increase employee engagement and achieve company goals.Counsel employees concerning complicated work-related problems and conduct termination interviews, providing feedback to management when necessary.This position acts as a credible activist for the organizations values: Passion, integrity, collaboration, tenacity, and innovation.

Requirements

BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field and 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in human resources with exposure to and demonstrated competence in all functional areas ORMaster’s degree in Human Resources or related field and 4+ years of related experience ORPHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP certification is highly preferredPreferred experience: HR generalist in the life science or related industry and HRISComprehensive knowledge and expertise in legal risk assessment as well as the application of employment law in most HR business situationsStrong understanding and practical application of federal, state and local labor regulations and policies is required; and ability to apply based on situationAbility to deal effectively and confidentially with employees at all levels within a diverse workforce regarding HR related topicsExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsHigh emotional intelligence and ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy and professionalismSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organizationProven track record of successfully managing programs or projects from start to finishHighly engaged and committed to supporting client groups and organizational goalsExcellent computer skills, strong knowledge in Microsoft package including Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to meet multiple deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiencyExcellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
