Purpose Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President ofCPS, the Executive Director leads revenue cycle operations includingcoding and charge capture, billing and collections, and registrationservices. MCW has been recognized as a national leader in revenue cycleoperations and is consistently ranked in the top decile by VizientClinical Practice Solutions Center. The incoming Executive Director willlead a dedicated and experienced team of professionals to strategicallyposition the organization for further efficiencies and growth related tothe capture, management, and collection of patient service professionalfee revenues. Directs and coordinates the efforts of professionalservices revenue cycle staff in the management of clinicalrevenue-producing activities for one or more Group Practices. Developdepartmental best practices and policies related to professionalservices billing activities (registration services, coding & chargecapture, and billing and collections). Evaluates and advises on revenueenhancement opportunities, long range planning, new clinicalprograms/strategies and regulatory actions. Represent professionalservices revenue cycle in Epic Optimization efforts with Health SystemPartners. Develops and executes a comprehensive strategy that willdeliver: Cash Collections yield of 100% NPSR Reduction in percent of A/Rover 90 days old Avoidable Write off improvement Reduction in Gross DaysRevenue Outstanding Incremental Net Revenue Enhancement Maintains keyrelationships with Practice leadership, clinical department chairs,clinical department administrators, and MCW administration to ensurethat customer needs are met. Develops and uses effective monitoringsystems to assure standards of performance are met, operating and budgetobjectives achieved, adherence to regulations, policies, and proceduresof MCW and regulatory agencies. Motivates and leads a high-performancemanagement team; attracts, recruits, and retains required members of themanagement team; provides mentoring as a cornerstone to the managementcareer development program.
