The team is looking for a full-stack Software Engineer with a passion for quality, optimization, reliability, and tool development. If you want to learn how to solve complex enterprise-scale engineering problems, like automating E2E product testing using AI-ML at scale, come see us.
Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our San Diego, CA office two or more days per week.
What you'll bring
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceExperience coding in Java, Spring frameworks, Python, Go, or KotlinExperience coding in one of the leading JavaScript / Typescript frameworksDeep knowledge/experience with data architecture: SQL, NoSQL, and data caching technologies/in-memory databases such as MemCached and RedisExperience working with large volumes of data and knowledge of big data machine learning techniquesStrong foundation in RESTful APIs, data structures, algorithms, software design and securityExpertise in working with container deployment and orchestration technologies at scale with strong knowledge of the fundamentals to include service discovery, deployments, monitoring, scheduling, load balancing. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Go and Docker preferredExperience with metrics, monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Wavefront, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and PagerDutyBuilding strong teams - set and evangelize vision, facilitative leadership, attract and retain key talent, cross-functional leaderExperience designing and maintaining large-scale backend web servicesPassionate about building and running distributed systems at scale in production

Build, design, and implement scalable cloud-based platform servicesWork on significant assignments that are broad in scope and complexity and cover a wide range of issuesSuccessful delivery of high quality and complex software (requirements, design, code, documentation)Ensure the end-to-end solution design delivers a great customer experienceEnsure the cross-functional team understands what’s important, how we measure how we are doing and delivers on the right priorities to create a great solutionUnderstands and applies business unit objectives when creating solutionsContribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews, estimates, designs and codePartner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitmentsCommitment to team success and positive team dynamicsExperience with Agile Development, Scrum methodologiesDesign scalable platform, research new technologies, and prototype new ideas while balancing it with business initiativesMentors and teaches team members to raise the technical acumen on the overall teamProactively brings high impact technologies and engineering practices into the companyCollaborates effectively with and influences peers to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas
