Product ManagerThe Product Manager (PM) independently defines new product strategy, develops business cases for action, and conducts market research. The PM creates and executes assigned product launches activities including launch materials, communications and training and identifies lessons learned from the product development and launch processes.Duties/ResponsibilitiesStrategizes, creates, and executes the full product lifecycle for assigned products from launch to end-of-life and minimization of cannibalization as it relates to new product introductions.Gathers and analyzes “Voice of Customer” data for assigned products and drives data integration into product design.Conducts complex primary and secondary market research by identifying sources, analyzing results, and synthesizing results into strategies for assigned products.Responsible for taking and answering technical calls regarding Acumed products, both during and outside of regular business hours.Provides surgeons and sales partners general product knowledge on the full portfolio at global tradeshows, Bioskills courses, Surgical Skills labs, and other new product training events as a representative of Acumed.Ensures 100% compliance with all applicable laws, AdvaMed guidelines and Acumed policies.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field of study required plus an MBA or an equivalent combination of education and experience.3 to 5 years of experience in a classical marketing function with direct product management or sales experience required.2 or more years of experience in Medical Device or similar industry is required.Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and execute product launches globally.Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis, performance analysis, business planning, business forecasting concepts, and strategic planning.Advanced presentation skills with the ability to create and deliver presentations to large groups of peers and customers.Advanced computer skills working with Excel and PowerPoint, proficient in remaining MS Office Suite.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
