A law firm specializing in workers' compensation defense is seeking a dedicated and experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team in Ridgeland, MS. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge and practical experience handling workers' compensation cases.Duties:Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings, trials, and appeals.Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, and contracts related to workers' compensation cases.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding workers' compensation laws and regulations.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management and positive client outcomes.Attend depositions, mediation sessions, and negotiations with opposing counsel.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Requirements:Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing workers' compensation defense law.Licensed to practice law in Mississippi.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Active license to practice law in Mississippi.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging legal environment.Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and client satisfaction.Benefits:
