The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting in the oversight and management of the Student Conduct and Academic Integrity Programs office for the campus. This includes:Managing the student conduct system and processes for alleged academic and non-academic violations including student violations of Title IX-related and other anti-discrimination policiesEducating the campus community about the student conduct and academic integrity processesServing as a resource and consultant to students, faculty, and staffInvestigating and adjudicating complaints and grievancesMaintaining confidential records and ensuring institutional compliance and reportingThe Assistant Director will assist in the management of an annual budget in excess of $740,000 and supervision of professional and paraprofessional staff and volunteers. They will have the responsibility for day-to-day direct supervision of 2 - 4 professional Conduct Coordinators. The Assistant Director is a primary liaison to UCR Housing Services/Residential Education, coordinates adjudication for cases of alleged violations of the University Standards of Conduct that occur in campus housing facilities, and coordinates educational outreach activities and development of office resources, including written materials, website information, and training/workshops. Manages the program's comprehensive online database and data reporting (Symplicity Advocate).The salary range for the Assistant Director of Student Conduct & Academic Integrity Programs is $64,300 - $114,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $101,800 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
