We’re looking for a passionate, tech-savvy and audience-centric brand marketer to help shape the strategy, execution and measurement for the LinkedIn brand globally at an exciting time in our growth.

This position sits in the Brand, Communications and Social Impact team and will work across the organization with all the teams that are responsible for driving reach and engagement with LinkedIn’s audience of 500M+ members and customers.

The successful candidate will be passionate about our ability to build an iconic brand that drives business results. They will be strategic, analytical, and creative and able to work across a wide range of brand-related projects. They will enjoy building relationships and working effectively across functions to drive impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define and perform ad hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the development of global brand strategy, leveraging insights across all aspects of business (including member, market, competitive, and brand).

Develop and implement existing measures to track brand performance and overall effectiveness for the organization, leading effectively across functions and regions

Ensure that products and services map to brand architecture, brand positioning naming strategy and messaging to maximize market impact

Partner with teams to create annual marketing plan and act as liaison with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment.

Develop and implement brand management tools to provide direction and consistency across all LinkedIn brand activities – including frameworks and guidelines.

Build cross-functional collaboration of brand teams across LinkedIn working across businesses and regions to ensure objectives and brand activity aligns to build overall equity.

Monitor industry, marketing and consumer trends and disseminate insights through organization

Lead brand training and brand evangelism activities with internal groups and external agency partners to ensure activities are on-strategy

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

BA or BS degree

5+ years marketing experience in consumer technology, corporate brand management or brand strategy consulting, or strategic planning at an agency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong results orientation in high-growth, fast paced environment with proven track record of delivering on projects with tight deadlines and cross-functional dependencies

Strategic thinker who is conversant with brand management and activation across multiple marketing channels and audiences

Superior audience-centricity, relentless advocate for our members and customers across the organization

Experience developing and analyzing brand and/or business strategies; participating in large-scale projects and processes across business functions

Ability to understand, integrate and synthesize primary and secondary data to form insightful observations and clear, actionable brand and business implications

Ability to communicate and influence at all levels, across multiple functions and drive participation and partnership

Hungry to learn, problem-solve and make an impact on the organization and its performance

Expert in competitive, consumer and industry trends with up to the minute awareness of shifting dynamics

Advanced degree is a plus

This role will be based in either Sunnyvale or San Francisco, depending on which location the applicant chosen for the role is currently residing.
