Job Description:As a Software Developer at GDIT, you will be responsible for delivering simple solutions to complex problems. You will work on maintaining and modernizing a system that tracks building energy efficiency for EPA's ENERGY STAR program. This system is used internationally and involves initiatives like user interface redesign, technical stack improvements, and operational tasks.
Responsibilities:
Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software
Work in an agile team environment with new iterations every 10 days
Collaborate with various team members including Engineers, Project Managers, and Testers
Participate in agile team activities such as daily scrum and sprint planning
Requirements:
Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, I.S./I.T., or related field
Experience: 4+ years of hands-on front and backend web development
Technical Skills: Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, Angular, GIT, Maven, REST
Helpful Skills: JQuery, KnockoutJS, ActiveMQ, Jenkins
US Citizenship Required
