The HR team offers the resources CRST employees need to thrive.Job Title : Recruiting PartnerLocation : Onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA (3930 16th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404)Job Schedule : Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM)Compensation : Base Salary + Commission & Bonus IncentivesA final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, demonstrated knowledge, and location.Job Summary : As a Recruiting Partner at CRST, you'll connect individuals to rewarding careers in the transportation industry. Your role includes attracting, selecting, and onboarding new hires across various departments. You'll focus on meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for successful requisitions and filled positions per month while prioritizing hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.Day in the Job Preview : As a full-cycle recruiter at CRST, you will focus on sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for diverse positions across multiple CRST divisions throughout the US. You'll also manage a strong network of relationships, including hiring managers, HR team members, and senior leadership, to proactively drive our recruiting efforts.Essential Duties & Responsibilities :Operational Excellence

:Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, schedule and coordinate interviews, and facilitate the extension of offers.Maintain candidate databases, track recruitment activities, and provide regular updates to hiring managers.Collaborate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and to ensure a transparent interview process.Partner with internal marketing department to leverage new sourcing tools and advertisements.Open and manage new positions within the ATS, maintain accurate data, and uphold established processes.Kick off onboarding initiatives, support new hires, and create reports based on hiring data.Stay updated with hiring trends and be proactive with this information.Relationships and Collaboration

:Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, senior leadership and the HR team.Foster candidate pools that lead to efficient days to fill.Provide a strong recruiting solution and resources to our business partners and leaders.Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.Active effort to engage with hiring managers to learn the businesses that we supportOther assigned duties to proactively drive our recruiting efforts.Ideal Qualifications :The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully recruiting candidates for a wide range of positions. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. :Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. In the absence of a degree, one could have demonstrated success in a recruiting capacity for 1-5+ years.Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations relating to recruitment and hiring practices.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being autonomous and proactive in solving recruitment challenges.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret recruitment data to drive informed decision-making.Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Handshake, and other recruiting tools.Proficient experience utilizing mass communication methods for candidate outreach (HeyMarket, Text Recruit, etc.).Job Requirements:Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen is required.High school diploma or GED is required.Did You Know?CRST is one of the largest privately owned trucking companies in the United States.
