As a Recruiter at Shive-Hattery, you will play a crucial role in talent acquisition, focusing on candidates with a background in the Architecture and Engineering design field. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have 3-5 years of experience in recruitment. We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment and values collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Recruiting Administration: Efficiently manage and coordinate interviews with candidates and various offices, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple open requisitions simultaneously.Job Satisfaction Enhancement: Proactively resolve issues, implement new perks and benefits, contributing to the overall satisfaction and well-being of our employees.HRIS System Management: Collaborate with leaders to create requisitions using the HRIS system (Paylocity), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies, contributing to a positive and compliant work environment.Data Gathering and Compliance: Gather and track data, maintain records, and monitor compliance, ensuring adherence to labor regulations and employment laws.Employee Onboarding: Play a vital role in the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the company culture.Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (not required), or equivalent experience.Certification: Human Resources Certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) and/or a demonstrated commitment to the HR field through training and development is desirable.Skills And Qualifications:Experience: 3-5 years of recruiting experience, with a preference for experience in the design field.Team Player: Strong ability to collaborate and thrive in a team environment, contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.Computer Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel within a Microsoft Environment.Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.Why Shive-Hattery?
