Payroll software experience, preferably Isolved
Ensure accuracy with strong attention to detail
Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
Strong organizational skills
Handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Primary Purpose
The
HR Generalist
oversees various human resources functions. Responsibilities including hiring, onboarding, benefits administration and payroll processing to ensure a seamless employee experience. This is a multifaceted role focused on fostering a positive workplace and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Essential Job Functions
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the creation and updating of company policies and procedures, ensuring they align with legal requirements and best practices.
Oversee hiring processes and procedures including job posting, scheduling interviews, and compiling documentation.
Develop and execute an onboarding program that ensures new hires are well-integrated into the company culture and understand their roles.
Respond to inquiries regarding policies and procedures
Ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll, including handling of deduction and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Act as liaison with
third party payroll processor and troubleshoot issues within the system as they arise
Effectively train and communicate with staff on all payroll matters
Assist in implementing performance review process to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization
Oversee and champion employee benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
Participate in and lead various HR projects as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Education
Level of Education:
Associates Degree () Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
Work Experience:
3-5 years
5 years, Education Requirement:
5+ years of related experience will be accepted in place of required degree
Preferred field(s) of study:
Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
