Summary of Position/Objective

The Talent Manager at PRK Williams Companies is responsible for the leadership and execution of the talent acquisition, employee development, and employee retention of the company. This role will focus on the hiring of high-quality talent, succession planning, employee growth and development, employee engagement and recognition.

Talent Acquisition

Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Collaborate with hiring managers and department leaders to understand their talent needs and develop recruiting plans to attract qualified candidates.

Lead the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.

Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to attract a diverse pool of candidates, including passive candidates, through social media, professional networks, and other channels.

Develop and execute employer branding strategy to enhance the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to talent acquisition, ensuring compliance at all times.

Provide detailed reporting for hiring statistics including recruiting goals, success achieved and strategic plans to address gaps.

Talent Development

Develop and deliver training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce, including leadership development programs to identify and develop high potential employees for future leadership roles.

Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace.

Build, coach, and facilitate effective teams through the effective use of tools, team building activities, development activities, and supporting the leaders in creating an engaged environment.

Talent Retention

Facilitate and assess employee engagement survey and pulse surveys and analyze the data and prepare reports to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Assist department managers in developing engagement action plans specific to the department.

Design and execute employee engagement programs including events, workshops and recognition initiatives.

Establish and manage recognition and reward programs to acknowledge outstanding employee contributions and boost motivation.

Promote open and transparent communication within the organization including company wide communications to proactively share key messages and celebrate successes.

Competencies/Qualifications/Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, General Business or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Human resources, business operations, or related field with 2+ years of leadership experience.

Proven thought leadership and strategic thinking, ability to excel in a highly ambiguous environment within a quickly growing and evolving business landscape.

Strong business acumen, analytical skills and data-driven decision making capabilities.

Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.

Strong organizational and planning skills with close attention to detail.

Certificates/Licenses/Registration

The employee shall possess a valid driver’s license and must be eligible for the agency’s vehicle insurance and provide proof of private vehicle coverage.

Supervisory Responsibility

Position supervises employees in the talent acquisition area.

Work Hours

Standard office hours, with flexibility to accommodate extended hours, travel or event requirements as needed.

Work Environment

Primarily office setting with occasional visits to construction sites, client locations or other off-site venues. Frequent local travel with some out-of-state travel expected.

The employees will occasionally push or pull items such as tables, chairs, boxes, and filing cabinet drawers.

Specific vision requirements for this job include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability focus and ability to adjust focus.

Ability to travel locally and out-of-state as required. Reasonable accommodations provided.

Travel

Frequent travel within the local area is expected. Occasional out-of-state travel for client meetings, industry events or other business needs.
