This role is within CG's IT Enterprise Applications function. The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in driving company growth in Subscription Services and Recurring Revenue. This role will (i) collaborate with business stakeholders, understand business processes, and elicit, define, and analyze requirements;

(ii)configure, develop, test, implement, support, and maintain applications that enable business processes, focused on Subscriptions Management/Zuora and related applications.

Experience requirements include up to 5+ experience in Information Technology, preferably applications development or configuration.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Work with business stakeholders to understand business processes, gaps, pain points, and objectives; elicit, define, and analyze requirements.Participate in configuration, implementation, and support applications that enable Subscription Management and Recurring Revenue business processes on the Zuora platform other integrated applications such as SAP ECC, SAP Commerce, Salesforce.com, and myQ.Facilitate in functional, administrative, and technical sessions on integrating Zuora with related applications, including knowledge of Zuora’s REST APIsProvide recommended changes to Zuora Workflows and Zuora document templates.Achieve Subject Matter Expertise on the design and configuration of the Zuora application.Collaborate with colleagues to define and design proposed solutions that meet requirements and adhere to platform and application design guidelines, strategies, and industry best practices.Collaborate with application developers to create functional specifications for custom development that adheres to design guidelines and industry best practices.Collaborate with Super Users to create test cases for end-to-end business processes and system functions, ensuring traceability and coverage of requirements; execute tests; facilitate Super User test execution; analyze and resolve defects.Collaborate with business stakeholders to create documentation and training materials, support training delivery and organizational change management.Support production systems; proactively work to analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner; resolve end user service requests; independently execute production support processes including identification of issue severity, root cause, and path to resolution.Recognize opportunities to leverage applications to improve business processes, and support business re-engineering efforts.Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent work experience in software development.

Experience:

5+ years experience in Information Technology, preferably applications development or configuration.3+ years experience administering, configuring, and supporting Zuora Billing or equivalent subscriptions management systems.Familiarity of lifecycle implementation of applications on Zuora or equivalent subscription platform including Blueprint phase.Demonstrated ability in writing detailed business requirements, technical specifications, application test cases, and release plans

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding of subscription management and recurring billing business processes.Demonstrated skills in systems analysis, problem analysis, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution.Knowledge of software development lifecycles and how to take a solution from concept through design, development, testing, and deployment including release and change management.Demonstrated Business requirements analysis skills; ability to develop alternatives, identify pros andcons, and recommend preferred systems solutions to business problems.Demonstrated data analysis skills and ability to translate business reporting needs into specific technical requirements and report designs.Business Relationships: Builds strong relationships with stakeholders; appropriately manages stakeholder expectations; collaborates effectively.Strong ability to self-organize work upon receiving direction from Manager or Business OwnersCommunicates clearly and effectively in both written and verbal communications; able to clearly explain technical solutions to a businessperson.Desire to seek out and complete trainings relevant to position or projects assigned.

Experience:

Experience working with business processes related to end-to-end Quote-to-Cash business processes, from sales quoting to revenue recognition and cash application.Experience with other Zuora products, including Zuora CPQ, Zuora Collect, and Zuora Revenue.Experience in global environments a plus.Zuora Billing Administrator and Zuora Business Analyst certifications is a plus.Experience calling REST API’s using Postman or API clients.Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologiesExperience with Confluence and Jira
