Sr. Business Systems Analyst – BI Visualization

SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:
Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support analytical and Business Intelligence applications that enable Finance and related business processes focused on SAP BI/BOBJ and associated applications.Work with business stakeholders to understand business processes data needs, gaps, pain points, and objectives; elicit, define, and analyze information analysis requirements.Train, guide, and mentor Super Users in learning best practices for developing data visualizations in Power BI and/or SAC, usage of standard data models, standard dashboard design frameworks, and related activities that drive adoption of tools and improve access to data.Support and administer the environments for proper tool deployment, usage, and governance, including implementation of deployment best practices, standards for data and security, workplace or model deployment, scheduled data refresh, and platform administration.Develop, implement, and test standard data models in Power BI or SAC that Super Users can access to create reports and dashboards.This includes configuration, documentation training, and operational support as needed.Work with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and analyze business requirements for management metrics and analytics and then select appropriate tools to implement.Collaborate with functional and technical teams across all modules of SAP and other applications to define and design standard data models for Super User reporting that meet business requirements and adhere to application design guidelines, strategies, and industry best practices.Collaborate with business partners on deployment, including training, change management, and communications.Manage own work and project team members’ assignments to deliver according to project schedules; be accountable for delivery.Apply project management standards and concepts; prepare work estimates and work schedules; create and update project plans.Complete project financial and overall status reports and manage issues and risks.Provide support on the extraction and data load processes, including monitoring. Identify opportunities to leverage applications to improve business processes and support business re-engineering efforts.Research and represent industry best practices. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.Will work in Oak Brook, Illinois. Telecommuting/remote working allowed.REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus five (5) years of experience in job offered, Business Analytics, or related occupation.Must have experience or education with the following:Experience using Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud in enterprise environments using data warehouse tools from SAPExpert knowledge of data visualization and reportingExpert knowledge in designing and building standard data models, including connecting to multiple data sourcesStrong relational and dimensional data modeling and database design skillsProficient understanding of data and reporting methodologiesCandidates must possess work authorization for their intended country of employment.
