Envoy
Staff iOS Engineer
Envoy, San Francisco, California, United States, 94199
About the RoleThe Envoy Mobile app is the entry point for employee interactions. Its functionality is constantly expanding and evolving as we seek to create the best experience possible for our users.
As an iOS engineer, you’ll be directly responsible for building core product features, collecting and evaluating metrics that determine their impact to the business, and raising the bar for our app’s quality. Our engineers own the full development and release cycle and are empowered to make any technical or process changes to improve the velocity of the team. We are a peer-review, CI-invested, collaborative culture.
Envoy Mobile app is a rapidly expanding product suite, and our tech stack has been shaped by this environment. The codebase is built up by a list of modules, each responsible for a feature or product, and are brought together using dependency injection. Much of the app is built using reactive programming, utilizing an internal component-driven UI framework to speed up feature development.

An advocate for the end-user . You think about how our customers will interact with the service and champion positive changes.
A systems thinker . You think about how your designs will affect other aspects of the service and how it will evolve in the future.
A curious lifelong learner . Someone who enjoys technology and learning new things, like staying up-to-date on new tools and techniques. You are inspired by what's possible and eager to incorporate the best technologies into your work.
Mindful of performance . You think people deserve access to their data in milliseconds.
Security-minded . We exist because of our customers. When security is breached, trust is lost.
A team player.
