Information Systems Security Manager

Ultra Maritime is looking for an experienced Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join their team in Braintree, MA. The ISSM will be responsible for maintaining the overall security posture of accredited systems and serving as the principal advisor on security matters. The role involves collaborating with local ISSO, IT and Security teams, as well as consulting with ISSMs in North Carolina and Virginia.Job Description:Duties:Developing, maintaining, and overseeing the system security program and policies for accredited systemsUnderstanding the risk management framework (RMF) processProficiency with NIST, FIPS199, FedRAMPEnsuring compliance with cyber security policies when designing, procuring, adopting, and developing new systemsImplementing the Assessment and Authorization process for classified information systemsMaintaining knowledge of systems functions, security policies, technical safeguards, and operational security measuresDeveloping and implementing a system security education, training, and awareness programObtaining/maintaining NISP Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) accessHandling SCAP and STIG of systemsPerforming other responsibilities as delineated in Section 3.6 of the DAAPMRequired Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field4+ years of ISSO experienceExperience with package creation and eMASS filingsExperience with building accredited systemsCISSP certificationSecurity+ or equivalent DoD Approved Baseline CertificationUS Government security clearanceDesired Skills:Master's Degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity4+ years IT work experienceExperience with RMF, NIST SP 800-37, -53, and -53A compliance
