Administrative Analyst/Specialist IIPosition Summary : This position reports to and receives general direction from the Director of Space Management (SM). The Space Management Analyst provides guidance, analysis, and strategic planning related to space requests and scheduling activities in University State-owned facilities. Responsibilities include high-profile event planning, leading meetings, liaising with campus service departments, scheduling facilities, processing billing, attending events, coordinating logistics, maintaining space-related data, overseeing classroom furniture, and assisting with department budgetary transactions. This role also involves training students and support staff, conducting space audits, updating databases, analyzing space data, and providing reports for efficient space utilization and planning. Additionally, the Space Management Analyst must possess a thorough knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, along with strong technical and computer skills. Commitment to quality improvement and customer service is essential.FLSA : Exempt (not eligible for overtime compensation)Anticipated Hiring Range : $5,834 - $6,338 per monthWork Hours : Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, occasional additional hours may be required. Partial telework schedule may be possible.Department Information : Space Management is a unit of Facilities Management within the Division of Administration & Business Affairs at Sacramento State. The unit governs space use, schedules academic and State-owned campus space, and coordinates facility use for classes, exams, and events.Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and administrative work experience.
