Areas that the Safety Group works on include:Abuse ReportingContent ModerationAccounts & IdentitySecurityPrivacy & ComplianceCustomer SupportRights ManagementAs a Senior Product Manager on the Safety team, you will work closely with leadership, product, design, data science, and operations teams across Roblox. In addition, you will drive critical company-level KPIs that affect how Creators keep their experiences safe and how they can protect their IP. As we bring new immersive features to Roblox, you will be responsible for leading the product in one of the most challenging and vital roles at Roblox.
The role reports to Director of PM, Safety in San Mateo, CA.You Will:Prepare and manage product requirements from conception to launchWork with a fast-paced multicultural team, across companies and time zonesBalance input from a wide variety of internal stakeholders and partners with potentially competing priorities and timelinesWork closely with engineers, designers, analysts, and product owners to drive the planning and execution of complex product requirementsManage cross-team dependencies and coordinate cross-team initiatives as well as blocking issuesGrow your career with an amazing companyYou Have:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceA self-starter, with 5+ years of experience in product design and management, in which you managed software projects that cut across multiple stakeholders and organizations.Experience in defining and developing user-generated content (UGC), creator tools, or content moderation productsAn effective communicator, with strong listening, verbal, and written skillsOpen-minded and empathetic, with experience working across cross-geo and multicultural teamsDynamic and flexible, who creates opportunity out of uncertainty and ambiguity (e.g. changing requirements or incomplete data)A problem solver, who approaches challenges with a logical and systematic frameworkFor roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
